Inspired by the Laughing Man incident in the anime Ghost in the Shell SAC, The Catcher in the Rye by Salinger, and based on Paul Nicholson's design, The Laughing Boy project is a web application, that explores the boundaries in motion and graphic design between an emoji and a logo, with focus on the user interaction. Built with react app in javascript and node, and database on postgreSQL, and supported by a face detection AI model API from Clarifai. You can try the app here.
